Tina was born and raised in the outdoors of Southwest Colorado and has a deep love for the mystery of the mountains. Her perfect day includes riding her mountain bike, snowboarding, or hiking in the high country. She loves her profession as a high school Science Teacher and life-long adventurer. Tina’s high school years were spent attending Montrose High School and racing Bicycle Motocross (BMX). She spent one and a half years on the Front Range of Colorado attending both Colorado State University then University of Northern Colorado. The rest of her college career was finished up at Fort Lewis College, studying Biology for Secondary Education and racing bikes for the FLC Cycling Team. She competed at several collegiate cycling national races and placed 12th in Women’s National Collegiate BMX. Tina likes to approach life with an open mind as well as a positive spin. Dogs are her favorite adventure buddies but she appreciates all animals large and small. Tina’s grandparents are her biggest heroes and she hopes to read as many books as they have.
